Engineering for kids – Mechanical Engineering: Master Machines & Aerospace Engineering Camp

Morning Course (9:00-12:00):
Mechanical Engineering: Master Machines
Students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and improve a variety of machines and mechanical systems. Students learn basics of energy, traction, aerodynamics, and durability while constructing roller coasters, eggstreme defense vehicles, and more.
Afternoon Course (12:30-3:30):
Aerospace Engineering: Up, Up, and Away
During the Aerospace Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a variety of flying machines. They construct a shock absorbing system designed to protect two marshmallow astronauts in a lunar vehicle, create their own air-powered rockets, and assemble a model blimp that actually takes flight!
When: Monday, July 7th, 2025 – Friday, July 11th, 2025 / 9:00am – 12:00pm and 12:30pm – 3:30pm
