Reflecting an Environmentally Conscious Mission
September 17, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
$25AFO is pleased to introduce a new series of events that highlight the positive social impact of architecture in the community. This summer, explore three stellar nonprofit headquarters recently designed by Oregon architecture firms. You’ll have a chance to hear from each organization’s leader, learn about their missions and discover how the spaces were designed to enhance each unique vision. Tours, mingling and nibbles will follow.
The last event of the three part series:
What are the keys to creating a building that exemplifies dedication to environmental conservation and evokes the beauty of nature? LEVER’s recent renovation and expansion of the Oregon Conservation Center transformed a dated office building into a reflection of the organization’s environmentally-conscious mission. The target LEED Gold design connects people to nature by integrating materials and landscapes specific to The Nature Conservancy’s priority projects around Oregon. Hear from The Nature Conservancy and from Thomas Robinson of LEVER about the building that embodies the organization’s mission.
Hosted by The Nature Conservancy & LEVER Architecture.
