Opened in March 2022, the stunning Patricia Reser Center for the Arts is a pandemic era achievement – it is the first multi-disciplinary arts center of its kind built in the Portland Metro area in over 30 years. The Reser serves to host a variety of touring programs, professional performances, and regional arts groups. It includes a 550-seat theater, outdoor plaza, art gallery, and rehearsal and meeting spaces.
Sustainability, inclusion, and community were central to the planning and building process. The $55 million project emerged from an idea in Beaverton’s award-winning Community Visioning process. Key partners in the project include Opsis Architecture, Skanska USA Building, and Edlen & Company.
All funds raised by this event go toward supporting AFO, which includes programs such as Architects in Schools and multiple scholarship opportunities.
